Xzibit – Imagination Captured
We turn imagination into reality–making your exhibition or display stand out from the crowd.
Xzibit, founded by Joel Nebauer and Kelley Noonan as Focus Productions in 2005, is a leader in the design and build of high-end exhibition stands, museum exhibits, and visitor centre displays.
Our bespoke high-end stands, made from a high-quality modular system, are the perfect choice to get customers talking. Our museum displays incorporate innovative storytelling methods to produce stimulating, multi-sensory interactive learning experiences.
Over the past 15 years our team has produced countless customised environments for clients in the technology, transportation, arts, science and education sectors.
Focused on building ongoing partnerships and relationships, our in-house team offers an end to end service. We’ll work with clients from the moment a business makes an enquiry, through creative development, design and production, to finally, onsite installation.
Possibilities are virtually limitless with Xzibit; our full service production includes sourcing furniture, shell scheme, rigging, lighting, and other showcasing equipment.
Based in Brisbane but with warehouses in Melbourne, Xzibit is the perfect choice for your next exhibition or museum activation, wherever you want your story told in Australia.
We recognise that our most valuable asset is our highly skilled and experienced team.
Joel is a qualified Shopfitter, AV Technician and Project Manager and has created some of Australia’s most unique interactive exhibits, high-end joinery fitouts and traveling exhibitions.
Kelley is an experienced Project Manager and our Creative Director. Her scope of work has included the design and delivery of displays within visitor centres, educational spaces and large-scale exhibitions across Australia.
Jamie manages our AV and technology departments, creating hands-on interactive and educational displays and ensuring that all of our exhibitions have user-friendly, reliable AV elements.
Vanessa oversees the office’s operations – managing and maintaining Xzibit’s systems and procedures. Her lovely disposition is coupled with an excellent eye for details.
Nathan is the workshop maestro: he plans, organises and oversees production schedules; assesses resources and project requirements; oversees all workshop operations and ensures we meet (and exceed) regulatory guidelines.
KA is across all the projects that are managed and executed at Xzibit. She assists with scheduling and logistics as well as wrangling a host of other general administrative tasks that underpin our projects.
Jesse is an imaginative, experienced designer who transforms ideas into detailed concepts and refined renderings. He has a particular knack for producing immersive environments and artful graphics.
Ben specialises in managing the creation of custom stands and goes the extra mile to ensure a happy client. With over 15 years of management experience, he’s thorough with details and is a proven leader.
Murray is Xzibit’s most experienced tradesman with over 30 years in the trade. His attention to detail and broad knowledge makes him a critical asset in the workshop and onsite.
Brent is Xzibit’s audiovisual all-rounder. His experience includes designing, programming, installing and maintaining a variety of AV displays in theatres, theme parks and visitor centres.
Lizzy is both a creative and technical designer. She loves bringing imaginative concepts to life. Her special talents include creating eye-catching renders and detailed drawing sets.
Meet Xzibit’s renaissance man – John bounces from his computer to the shop with ease. He’s adept with 3D software and CAD as well as operating the CNC machine and building displays.
Mykala keeps Xzibit data and documents organised and ensures that bills are paid on time. Unofficially, she’s our team cheerleader and Office DJ.
Xzibit is committed to lending a helping hand where we can.
On top of striving to be the premier expo, museum and visitor centre designers in Australia, we’re also dedicated to feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, educating children and meeting local community needs.
Global & Local Projects
The Housing Project
Over the past few years our team has helped to build 81 houses in a neighbouring village to one of our orphanages. When we first arrived, local families were squatting in ‘make-shift’ houses constructed with any available materials. With our support, these families have rendered brick homes with electricity that will be passed down to the next generation.
Indian Orphanages, Widow’s Home and Community Projects
Xzibit supports 34 children in full-time care in an Indian orphanage. Our CEO regularly visits the orphanage and local village. The children now have access to education, good food, clean water, shelter and every opportunity to make a valuable difference in their community. Xzibit is also committed to financially supporting a community dental program and mobile medical clinic.
Xzibit proudly supports the work of Teen Challenge, which is all about ‘Restoring Hope and Rebuilding Lives’ by helping young people overcome addiction, abuse and other life-controlling problems–giving them a second chance at life. Xzibit supports their residential rehabilitation programs for young men and women, emergency accommodation and family support programs.
