CLIENT BRIEF

Downfall Creek Bushland Centre recognised one of their rooms was an underutilised space and asked Xzibit (formally Focus Productions) to transform it into a special exhibit. It was decided that the displays should tell the story of the forest at dusk and dawn.

Xzibit developed an interpretive concept for the client to review—including a shortlist of species, narrative flow suggestions and multimedia solutions. After refining the concept, Xzibit created and installed a series of floor-to-ceiling graphics, custom flooring plan with interpretive content and two stunning, oversized lightboxes to represent the night sky.

EXPLORE THE FOREST

A range of visitors are engaged through a series of bold and bright wall graphics complemented by further content on the floors and ceiling, which encourages people to look up, down and all around. A dishwasher, cabinets and sink are subtly integrated into the design, ensuring the room can still function as a meeting and events space.
