On several occasions in the past few years, Xzibit has collaborated with Logan City Council to develop new signage for various Council parks and protected areas. Xzibit has written interpretive strategies, developed style guides, drafted site plans and fabrication drawings and created signage graphics. As part of creating graphics, we always visit the proposed sign locations, take extensive photos and notes, interview rangers or other stakeholders and then draft and revise content. With this signage, we've aimed to capture Council's core messaging, align with their branding but also reflect each park's unique character and amuse and engage visitors.Â
Xzibit also has the capacity to fabricate and install signage. We love seeing a project through to completion and are well acquainted with local material suppliers. Creating captivating signage can be challenging, but we like to use interactive displays. For outdoor use, we prefer U-Turn Rounds, a hand powered audio box that is weather and vandal proof.
