CLIENT BRIEF

The South Burnett Regional Council, alongside community and corporate stakeholders, had a vision to refurbish an existing warehouse and turn it into a unique interactive space that would attract visitors to the region. The client had a concept and required working drawings to be developed for the ‘science centre’ type interactive displays.

CONSTRUCT WITHIN 8 WEEKS

The exterior of the building was transformed with a new themed façade and the internal space required minor construction works prior to being fitted out with interactive displays, printing, lighting, displays cases, display of artefacts and custom joinery. The project was completed in under 8 weeks, from working drawings through to the opening.

The Energy Centre is a visually exciting experience with a variety of exhibits about the development and future of power generation. It is a stimulating, contemporary and low maintenance interactive space that appeals to visitors of all ages.
