CLIENT BRIEF

For the STEM Central Hub, CQ University Gladstone required an experienced team of designers and builders to deliver a state-of-the-art fitout that provides the local community with a central hub to explore and participate in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Xzibit (formally Focus Productions) was selected based on its history of successfully collaborating with universities and libraries to deliver high-end, bespoke community spaces.

DESIGN & CONSTRUCT SUCCESS

The whole of the fitout was designed and fabricated in our Yatala workshop and then transported to Gladstone for install. Thanks to expert project management and workmanship, the fitout was completed in less than three working days by an ace team of two Xzibit tradesmen.

THE RESULT

Colour-coded zones with over-sized numbers delineate different work stations and boldly announce the HUB. Robust finishes and a modern, clean aesthetic suit the theme and purpose of the space. Custom joinery has been developed to pair with a variety of STEM hardware and applications.
